Wing Chun Kung Fu is arguably the most effective and complete form of self- defense in the world. It has a very simple, yet complex array of techniques, training methods, fighting strategies, and guiding principles.
Due to the in-contact, reactionary nature of Wing Chun, [see also drills] techniques are quickly programmed into the subconscious mind of the practitioner, and become reflexive (bypassing the conscious thought process).
When you have developed a high degree of skill in wing chun you will be able to counteract a fast, aggressive fighter by using bo lay ying or glass techniques.
[Elbow Force] is only one of the skills of this profound Wing Chun system. Each form has its own hidden skillful techniques. Therefore, I hope that practitioners will not concentrate only on the application of the movements.
When the student has matured, he/she then has a tool box of Wing Chun techniques at the ready, using the most appropriate actions needed in that moment.
